FAQ
Clear answers before you begin.
HappyPath exists to make solar situations more legible. These answers explain the residential, commercial, and international pathways in plain language.
Do you still work with residential homeowners?
Yes. Homeowners remain a core HappyPath service line. Standard Case Assessments are $199 for one clear issue involving one responsible company. Complex residential assessments start at $449 when the matter has multiple parties, financing complications, installer closure, missing records, or deeper research needs.
What does the Standard Assessment include?
The Standard Assessment is a defined residential service that includes core document and case-history review, one primary outreach, one follow-up, and a written action plan and escalation path. It does not include open-ended advocacy, repair work, legal services, or additional work outside that scope.
What does commercial support include?
Commercial engagements can include independent problem framing, technical-commercial coordination, portfolio review, due-diligence support, escalation support, decision-path development, and scoped action tracking. The exact work is defined in a written scope before engagement.
What does hyperscale mean here?
Hyperscale refers to power-intensive facilities and data-center campuses. HappyPath can review the context around power readiness, interconnection, delivery, stakeholder alignment, and related solar or energy-project risk, but does not provide engineering, regulatory, or utility services.
Do you accept international inquiries?
Yes. HappyPath accepts worldwide inquiries, then reviews country or region, governing-law and data-handling requirements, language, counterparties, specialist needs, and delivery constraints before accepting an engagement. An inquiry does not create an engagement.
How is commercial work priced?
Commercial, portfolio, hyperscale, utility-scale, and cross-border work is scope-led. HappyPath considers the asset, objective, deliverables, cadence, geography, jurisdiction, and specialist interfaces before proposing commercial terms.
Are you a law firm, engineering firm, installer, or repair provider?
No. HappyPath is not a law firm, engineering firm, regulator, installer, lender, manufacturer, EPC, O&M provider, or licensed repair provider. HappyPath does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, regulatory, environmental, engineering, construction, electrical, or licensed professional advice.
Do you take vendor commissions or sell equipment?
No. HappyPath does not sell solar equipment and does not accept commissions from installers, lenders, manufacturers, EPCs, O&M providers, or equipment vendors.
When does work begin?
HappyPath reviews fit first. Work begins only after the applicable approved agreement, any required payment or process step, and the initial materials needed to begin are complete.
Still not sure which path fits?
Start an inquiry with the facts you have. We will determine whether the right next step is a defined residential assessment or a scope-led commercial review.
